Visitor Profile

Insent helps you build a 360-degree picture of your website visitors through first-party and third-party resolution. It is vital to identify and build a rich picture of your prospects to understand their context.
The visitor profile of each person who interacts with the Insent chat on your website is available in Inbox and Slack or MS Teams (depending on which tool you use). The visitor profile experience is seamless across all platforms, irrespective of whether you use the Insent Inbox, Slack, or MS Teams.

Benefits of the Visitor Profile in Insent:

  • Single source of truth for all your visitors within Insent
  • Understand the recent activity of your visitors while engaging with them.
  • Segment your visitors from the visitor profile using Tags - into different categories based on the use case, role, or intent.

Visitor Profile

The visitor profile contains all known information about the visitor and the Account. It allows an agent to update a visitor's details based on what they learn in live chat. The profile of all visitors that engage with the bot is available in the Insent Inbox. In case you use a communication tool like Slack or MS Teams, all requests are routed to the configured communication tool.

The visitor profile is automatically populated with data that the visitor submits in live chat or through a form-fill on your website. Additionally, your team can tag a visitor to segment visitors based on intent or role and best cater to their needs.
